From the Poetry Village to the Ironworks - From Mesikkä to Möhkö -package
Parppeinvaara Poetry Village invites you to explore the rich tapestry of Karelian culture. Spend a moment in the enchantment of the poetry village, listening to kantele music and guide's stories, and explore the diverse exhibition offerings. Also visit Luontopirtti Mesikkä and, if time permits, Rajakenraali's Lodge.
From Parppeinvaara, the journey continues to Finland's easternmost village, Möhkö. You can explore Möhkö's iron history with a guide at Möhkö Ironworks. You will learn about the ironworks' operations, the region's war history, and Möhkö village's forest era.
A delicious buffet lunch and afternoon coffee with a sweet pastry are enjoyed at a suitable point in the program. Museum shops Parppeinpuoti and Ruukinpuoti offer a pleasant shopping opportunity.
Trip price: Fair offer 45 €/ person (norm 49,50 €/ person), the offer price is valid when you make a reservation by the end of April 2026.
In addition to the per-person price, group-specific guiding fees are charged: Möhkö Ironworks 90.00 € and Parppeinvaara Poetry Village 110.00 €, total 200.00 €/ group. For visits outside museum opening hours, an additional fee of 50 euros will be charged.
Price includes: Entrance and guiding fees at Möhkö Ironworks and Parppeinvaara Poetry Village, a kantele moment in Parppeinvaara Poetry Village, afternoon coffee with a sweet pastry, and lunch.

Implementation period: 1.5.-31.8. At other times by separate agreement.
