At Restaurant Parppeinpirtti, the Christmas lunch begins with a diverse appetizer buffet, adorned with various fish appetizers and salads. Hand-baked pies and vatruskas with egg butter are irresistibly delicious. The Christmas ham, slow-cooked in the oven overnight, melts in your mouth and is, of course, enjoyed with homemade Jallu mustard. The Pirtti's traditional Karelian stew and carrot and rutabaga casseroles complete the main course experience. For dessert, plum kissel with whipped cream is served, and to conclude the lunch, you can enjoy coffee/festive tea with homemade gingerbread cookies.

Christmas Lunch serving times:
Sun 30.11. and daily between 6.-23.12 two sittings,
1st sitting at 11-13 and 2nd sitting at 13.30-15.30
Exceptions to serving times are possible, and we will do our best to inform you in advance.
These exceptions are already known:
Wed 10.12. 2nd sitting shortened from 13:15-14:30, after which the restaurant is reserved for private use
Fri 19.12. 1st sitting exceptionally starts from 11.30 onwards
