On the Paths of Our Wars - War History Trip
Walk for a moment on the paths of our wars and explore some of the war history sites in the Ilomantsi region. During the trip, you will visit the village of Möhkö with a guide, the 'Möhkö at War' exhibition, the Continuation War battlefield at Öykkösenvaara, the Oinassalmi and Taivallampi monuments, and Parppeinvaara at the Rajakenraali's Lodge, where you will explore the 'Border, Raappana and Rukajärvi' exhibition. A war history specialist guide accompanies the group in the bus. Some destinations also have separate local guides. During the trip, enjoy a delicious lunch and coffee with a sweet pastry.
The sites visited during the trip are part of the Ilomantsi War Road.
General information about the trip: The starting and ending points of the trip are planned and scheduled individually for each group. This is a custom tour, which will be implemented taking into account other service availability and at a time convenient for the customer.

Duration: 7 hours. Transfers by the group's own bus.
Availability: The trip is available by order from June 1 - August 31, 2026. The exact date and availability are confirmed separately for each group.
Trip price: 85.00 €/ person. Minimum group size 16 persons. Includes program admission and guiding fees to Möhkö Ironworks and Parppeinvaara Poetry Village, lunch, coffee with a sweet pastry, war history guide services, and VAT 0-25.5 %.
